NOTHING SPECIAL TO SAY; I JUST WANTED TO CHECK-IN!

HOW IS EVERYONE?! HOW IS YOUR HEART?! HAS YOUR YEAR TREATED YOU WELL THUS FAR?

I sure hope so! 

No part of me expects you to notice what I did with my Instagram a few weeks back. BUT HAVE NO FEAR, I shall explain.

I am in a refreshing state of mind. This meant I wanted to go out with the old and bring in the new. It was time for a refresh.

AND, this included my Instagram feed.

However, the sentimental softy inside couldn’t justify deleting all those memories. A handful of photos were archived. Honestly, they were probably long overdue to be archived.

I debated for a few days on what to do to ~refresh properly~.

I finally landed on the idea of posting three white squares to serve as a feed divider. This was THE idea until I went to post them. How fucking boring would three white boxes have been?! HELL NO. I needed a better idea. 

The creative idea folder in my brain was empty, so for a few days, I just sat waiting, not taking in much content either as not to lose my vision.

FINALLY, I saw this graphic on Pinterest and knew exactly what I needed to do!

I then created two quotes with a similar background, checked to ensure the three pictures looked comparable enough, then went ahead and posted three white squares. BUT, they were three white squares with added flare and value!★

I posted three white graphics in a row to symbolize it was time for a refresh. This was the way I let my followers know that a refresh was coming very soon. I had already started the process long before I chose to purge my Instagram. But, for some reason, making it mildly symbolic like this seems more natural. It makes the entire idea of a ~life refresh~ seem real, you know? There’s no going back now!!!
